Reclaim Magazine, January 2021
Thank you to Reclaim Magazine for recommending my ‘Mandala Drawing for Beginners‘ in Issue 56, published 21st January 2021.
Reclaim is a glossy monthly magazine, available in print and digitally covering eco, salvage, vintage, and creative interior design ideas and more. It’s the most interesting magazine I’ve come across in a long time, packed full of inspiring articles including upcycling ideas, interviews with artists and stylish craft projects.
Gold Students Choice Award, November 2020

The Daily Telegraph, 17th October 2020
Thanks to Anna Maxted for featuring my Mandala Art Classes in her article in the Daily Telegraph ‘Saturday ‘ section on 17th October 2020 ‘Half-term at home? Time to get creative’.
Anna covered 20 ideas about what to do in the half-term break from teachers who have adapted their in-person experiences to online classes. From drawing to baking, dancing to caring for nature, the classes featured all encourage youngsters to use their imagination and develop new skills. I was thrilled to learn that my Mandala Art Classes were one of her suggestions. Congratulations to all the everyone featured n the article including three other of my fellow teachers from CraftCourses.com. How exciting! Read more.
British Travel Awards 2020 | Most Adaptive Blogger
Having started this blog at the beginning of lockdown in March 2020, I was delighted to be shortlisted as a nominee in the British Travel Awards, Most Adaptive Blogger, sponsored by Teletext.
I’ve been blogging for over eight years and was chuffed to bits to win the British Guild of Travel Writers Blogger of the Year award in 2017, for my blog Travel With Kat. However, when the world was turned upside in spring 2020, I started teaching mandala art online and Mandala Meadow was born! I’ve met so many lovely people through my art classes and it’s wonderful to know that may students get so much out of drawing mandalas, especially now in such strange times.
