Live online Mandala Art Classes via ZOOM
Have you ever wanted to learn to draw mandalas but couldn’t find a class near where you live? Now, you don’t have to! You can join my online art classes from anywhere in the world.

Join me for a fun and relaxing, online art class on Zoom. I’ll show you easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions on how to draw a mandala template followed by how to make beautiful mandala designs. Once you’ve learned a few simple techniques, you’ll see how simple it is even if you think you can’t draw!
Most classes are held in small groups but larger groups are available on request.
In my beginners’ mandala class you’ll discover a wide range of design elements inspired by traditional Asian mandalas. By the end of the class, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to continue drawing mandalas, making each one unique. I’ll give you tips on what equipment to use for drawing mandalas and a worksheet of design ideas for ongoing inspiration.
My classes are suitable for individuals, groups, adults, teenagers and corporate team building events no matter where you are in the world. As an experienced mandala art teacher, I’ve taught hundreds of people how to draw mandalas and how to use them as an aid to relaxation.
Gift vouchers are available for my Beginners and Intermediate classes from £18 per person, per class.
Private classes, as well as alternative dates and times, are available on request. Please email me at mandalameadow@gmail.com.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: All students will need a compass, protractor, ruler, pencil, smudge-proof fineliner and paper at least 21cm square (thick A4 paper works well) for any of my classes.

“I did the class with my daughters aged 14 and 12 and we all loved it. It was peaceful and relaxing and Kathryn was a great teacher with plenty of patience! It really felt as though we were all in the same room despite the screen. We all ended up creating mandalas that we were delighted with and had a really enjoyable afternoon.” Philippa

“My team absolutely loved it and have been showing off their journey to their colleagues.” Sharon, corporate event ograniser

“This was my first attempt at drawing a mandala and with Kathryn’s patience, skills and excellent resources I managed to produce something I was very proud of! This really is one of the nicest courses I’ve ever done and being on Zoom wasn’t an issue at all. If you’ve looked at mandalas and thought “I wish I could do that” then sign up for a lesson with Kathryn and let her show you how it’s done…” Joan

“It was brilliant! I loved how the class started with the meanings of mandalas and how they are used.
Then drawing the mandala was fun and well explained and the material sent afterwards was really interesting and useful.
I had a lovely time, learned a lot and was delighted with my mandala. Kathryn is a wonderful teacher and fantastic company!” Angie

I can thoroughly recommend Kathryn’s classes - I have joined 3 classes with her so far - Mandalas for Beginners, Intermediate Mandalas and, most recently, how to draw a Trinity Knot. Kathryn takes you through each step clearly and I have learnt such a lot, and met some lovely people too in the process. It’s very much ‘ work in progress’ for me, but I will definitely be back for more soon! Thank you Kathryn! Lynne Y
Interesting, enjoyable and fun class, the time just flew by. Kathryn’s clear step by step instructions and accompanying slides made the entire process of drawing a mandala fun and relaxing. I’m looking forward to applying the techniques you shared with us in the Zoom session and experimenting with the designs provided in the resources pack, when drawing my next mandala.
Many thanks Kathryn! That was a brilliant afternoon. The whole group enjoyed it immensely! I was pleasantly surprised with the end result of my effort, especially as I had decided to experiment with the design - a bit risky for a complete novice but it seems to have worked!! Thank you too for the pdfs and the Powerpoint presentation that you sent us afterwards. We will all have fun experimenting with our own designs!
My oldest daughter and I really enjoyed this class. It was our first attempt at making mandalas. Kathryn is a friendly and helpful teacher. The slides and instructions were interesting and clear. I highly recommend this class! Lots of fun and focus.
Thank you, Tam. It was great to meet you both, thanks to Zoom, despite us being in 3 different countries! I'm so pleased you both enjoyed and I hope to see you again soon in another class.
I thoroughly enjoyed Kathryn's mandala class, I felt very much at ease and part of the group as she explained the process really well, simply and calmly and just at the right pace. I know it will be something I will definitely continue with, such a nice tool to have, for a go-to meditative practice. Thank you Kathryn x
Thank you, Helen. It was lovely to mere you. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the class and that you plan to continue drawing more mandalas. I'd love to see how you progress some time.
I joined the class as an absolute novice who hasn't drawn in years. Kathryn's friendly approach and clear step by step instruction helped me create something I'm really proud of. I really enjoyed the class and meeting the other participants. It still worked well even though it was a zoom meeting. It was a lovely way to spend a morning. Thank you Kathryn for introducing me to a new hobby!
My pleasure, Andrea! It was a fun afternoon. It's lovely to hear how much you enjoyed it. And thank you for joining our Facebook group. I'll soon be announcing next month's challenge!
What a great way to spend a beautiful spring morning. Absorbing, fascinating and really inspirational. Kathryn is a great teacher, allowing everyone time for questions and observations. In lockdown it was so good to just to have a chat with like-minded people. Ample on screen demos and good support material made available after the class all contributed to a first-class experience.
Thank you. I’m off to practise!
Thank you, Deni. It was a fun morning. The time flew by! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it and, now you know how, I hope you have many happy hours creating more mandalas.
I really enjoyed the beginners mandala course and once I got to grips with the correct measurements, had a lovely relaxing evening colouring it in. I was delighted with the result.
Kathryn is an excellent teacher and very patient. I think this is going to be my new addiction!
Thank you, Jocelyn! I'm afraid I'm responsible for a few people's addictions. But it's a great addiction to have! Hope to see you again soon.
I have been interested in Mandalas since making them during my Crystal Therapy Diploma course. So when I saw Kathryn’s beginner class to learn how to draw a beautiful Mandala I decided to take a leap of faith and jump right in. I hadn’t used a protractor or a compass since my school days but I was eager to learn. Kathryn’s step by step approach is really encouraging so to my delight I had a passable Mandala at the end of class and was quite proud of myself! To assist us at home Kathryn also sends the entire presentation so we have the tools to improve in our own time in our own environment. I have since gone on to learn about Arabic Flowers and have taken an advanced class too. I am eagerly looking forward to what comes next! Thank you so much Kathryn!
I'm so pleased you enjoyed both these classes, as well as the Facebook Group mini art class on Arabic Flowers. I hope you'll join in the January challenge! I'm looking forward to our next get together too.
